Scientific Research Literature Episode 12|Image-guided Irreversible Electroporation for Locally Progressive Pancreatic Cancer
The pancreas is a retroperitoneal organ in the human body with insidious onset and difficult early detection. At the time of tumor diagnosis, only 10%-20% of patients have access to radical surgery, 30%-40% of patients have locally advanced tumor status, and 50%-60% of patients have developed distant tumor metastases. According to the Global Cancer Statistics Report 2018, the overall survival rate of pancreatic cancer has not improved significantly in the last 30 years, and the 5-year survival rate is even lower than 7%, but the incidence is increasing. In recent years, several treatments have been proposed for locally progressive pancreatic cancer, and irreversible electroporation ablation therapy is one of them. Irreversible Electroporation also known as Nanoknife is a new non-thermal physical ablation technique. The purpose of quoting part of the article here is to highlight the significant advantages of irreversible electroporation technology, so that readers can have a clearer understanding of Nanoknife and understand the breakthrough and important role of Nanoknife ablation surgery in the treatment of locally progressive pancreatic cancer.

Scientific Research Literature Episode 11|The Whole Process Management Strategy of Irreversible Electroporation in The Treatment of Liver Cancer
Since 2015, irreversible electroporation has been introduced and approved for clinical use in China. So far, some largescale centers and their experts in China have accumulated rich experience in the application of this technology. However, as a new technology, there are still many blind spots and misunderstandings in its technical promotion and clinical application. Therefore, this paper mainly discusses the basic principles and advantages of irreversible electroporation in the treatment of liver cancer, preoperative case screening, intraoperative operative points, postoperative management, efficacy evaluation, safety and complications, technical disadvantages and limitations, and makes a prospect for the future of irreversible Electroporation.

Scientific Research Literature Episode 10| Short-term Effect and Safety of Ultrasound Guided Irreversible Electroporation in the Treatment of Malignant Tumor Located in Dangerous Position
Surgical resection is the treatment of choice for most malignant tumors. Dangerous site malignant tumor usually refers to the tumor adjacent to or invading the surrounding large blood vessels, nerves and other important tissues, and such tumors often lose the chance of surgery due to the high risk of surgery and postoperative complications. Physical ablation is a common local treatment method, which causes tumor necrosis through high or low temperature causing protein denaturation, but the temperature change may also damage blood vessels, nerves and other important tissues. Nanoknife is a new ablation technique, which is a "non-thermal ablation". It achieves ablation by releasing high-voltage current pulses, causing irreversible nano-scale perforation of cells, resulting in apoptosis. The aim of this study is to summarize the short-term efficacy and postoperative complications of 23 cases of malignant tumors at risk sites ablated by Nanoknife, and to evaluate the safety and efficacy of Nanoknife ablation. The purpose of quoting some parts of the Short-term Effect and Safety of Ultrasound Guided Irreversible Electroporation in the Treatment of Malignant Tumor Located in Dangerous Position here is to popularize the emerging technology of nanoblade ablation, so that readers can have a clearer understanding of nanoblade and understand the indispensable and important role of nanoblade ablation surgery in tumor treatment.

Scientific Research Literature Episode 9| Clinical Application and Principled Parameter Setting of Nanoknife for Pancreatic Cancer
Currently, pancreatic cancer has become the 4th leading cause of death among cancer patients. Since pancreatic cancer grows rapidly and wraps around surrounding blood vessels, pancreatic ducts and nerve tissues, about 80% of patients are unable to receive surgical treatment at the time of detection, and symptoms such as abdominal pain, biliary system obstruction and gastrointestinal emptying disorder are already obvious. The treatment of pancreatic cancer is still a worldwide challenge. Nanoblade ablation has made a breakthrough in the treatment of pancreatic cancer, creating an effective and safe treatment opportunity for most of the pancreatic cancer patients who have lost the chance of surgery, especially for locally advanced pancreatic carcinoma (LAPC) patients.
